Disney live-action takes on our favorite classic movies are not going away anytime soon. Joining Cinderella, and Beauty and the Beast is The Jungle Book. You can watch the trailer for it below!

Based on Rudyard Kipling’s famous stories of Mowgli and his adventures, The Jungle Book will be a retelling of the story we all know and love and a reimagining of the Disney’s classic animated movie.

Mowgli (played by Neel Sethi) has been raised by wolves his whole life. One day he finds out that an evil tiger by the name of Shere Khan (Idis Elba) is out to get him because his hatred of men. His friends Bagheera the panther (Ben Kingsley) and Baloo the bear (Bill Murray) help him navigate the impending danger and the challenge of leaving the only home Mowgli has ever known. Other characters appearing in the movie will be Kaa the python (Scarlett Johansson), King Louie – a giant ape (Christopher Walken), and the Indian wolf Raksha (Lupita Nyong).

The film is being directed by Jon Favreau and will be released on April 15, 2016.
