Better Call Saul premiered on AMC on Sunday, February 9, 2015. The Breaking Bad prequel managed to exceed everyone’s expectations when it broke the record for the biggest cable premiere of ALL TIME with 6.9 million viewers tuning in to watch. After weeks upon weeks of enticing trailers all over our TVs it’s hardly a surprise. The show is currently boasting a 9.5 rating on IMDb.

Better Call Saul stars Bob Odenkirk as Saul Goodman and is set six years before the criminal lawyer first meets Walter White in Breaking Bad. At this time, Saul is first trying to establish himself as a reputable lawyer (of course, failing), struggling to make ends meet, and slowly building a clientele before settling in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

Vince Giligan (Breaking Bad creator) and Peter Gould (Breaking Bad Executive Producer) are the creators behind this show. Better Call Saul has already been renewed for a second season.
