Natalie Portman is the latest star to be rumored to join Danny Boyle’s Steve Jobs biopic based on Walter Isaacson’s biography Jobs. Just after Sony Pictures dropped the project and things were looking grim for production, Universal picked it up Monday and now it looks as if things are finally turning around. The biopic will star Michael Fassbender (Prometheus) as Steve Jobs himself, and Natalie Portman may be taking on the role of his daughter – although this has not yet been confirmed.

If the rumors are true, this will be a busy  a very busy time for the actress as she stars in Gavin O’Connor’s Jane God A Gun, co-produces a Jane Austen/undead mash-up called Pride And Prejudice and Zombies and makes her directorial debut and stars in A Tale of Love and Darkness based on Israeli writer, Amos Oz’s memoir.
