Production for Quentin Tarantino’s awaited Western, The Hateful Eight, is finally in motion. Filming began earlier this week in Telluride, Colorado – the whole film will be in 70mm.

Set in post-Civil War Wyoming, a bounty hunter and fugitive encounter two strangers, Major Marquis Warren, a black former union solider who is now a bounty hunter, and a southern renegade, on their way to the town of Red Rock. The unlikely group is caught in an unexpected blizzard and must find shelter, where they meet even more potentially dangerous strangers. A tale of deception and betrayal unfolds…

The cast of the film will include a lot of faces we’ve seen in Tarantino’s movies, but also a lot of fresh blood. The lead actors include: Samuel L. Jackson, Kurt Russell, Tim Roth, Michael Madsen, Channing Tatum, Bruce Dern, Walton Goggins, Jennifer Jason, and Demian Bichir. The supporting cast includes: Zoe Bell, Keith Jefferson, Lee Horsey, Dana Gourrier, James Parks, Craig Stark, and Belinda Owino.

The Hateful Eight is set for a November 13, 2015 release. We will keep you updated as more details about the movie emerge.
