Jurassic World is the fourth, long-anticipated, installment in the Jurassic Park films. Now being directed by Colin Trevorrow and executive produced by Steven Spielberg, the film is long overdue. The third installment, Jurassic Park III, was released over a decade ago in 2001. Many were doubting the if the film would even pull through after some major disagreements between Universal Studios and the writers – but it looks like we finally have some proof that Jurassic World IS, in fact, coming to life – the first official trailer! Judging from the trailer – the movie will not disappoint.

Jurassic World takes place 22 years after the events of Jurassic Park. The theme park envisioned by John Hammond is now fully functional in Isla Nublar. Owen (Chris Pratt) is a staff member performing behavioral research on Velociraptors opposed to the creation of genetically modified creatures. Is his concern justified? We’ll have to wait and watch to find out
