Filthy rich Oliver Queen (Stephen Amell) and his father are out at sea on their luxury yacht when a storm hits. The ship sinks and the two are presumed dead. However, luckily, Oliver manages to survive after ending up on a deserted island. He returns home after 5 years on the island, where he learned how to survive and fight from locals. After finding out about his father’s corruption, Oliver decides to make his father’s wrongs right. He puts on a disguise and becomes a vigilante fighting criminals in his home town with a bow and arrow. This show is based on a comic book series but is created to be enjoyable for both non-comic book readers and readers alike. IMDb rating 8.2
